We travel through a mixture of beautiful mountain scenery and the terraced fields and characteristic houses of rural villages from different ethnic groups. You will spend your fist night with experiencing the Newari culture of Jalbire, as soon as you got Jalbire your guide will give a short talk on trekking altitude sickness and the highlights of the trek inclusive the holy Bhairav Kund, the incredible Himalayan scenery and the life style of nomadic people unchanged by time. Your trail winds along an old trade route between Nepal and Tibet. Through a number of unspoilt Buddhist villages, past Chortens and Sherpa’s houses. The unusual climatic and geographical mix makes this area a naturalist’s dream and a Mecca for those who appreciate traditional cultures. Along the trail you will experience spectacular views of mountains in Nepal the Jugal Himal section of the Himalayan Range, Dorje Lakpa (6966), Madiya (6257M) and Phurbi Ghhyachu (6637m) and beautiful mountain range beyond the Nepal to Tibet. You will come across mostly with Tamang, Sherpa and Yolmo peoples and their typical culture, traditions, own interesting dialect whose way of life is unique even in this 21st century. This high altitude lake is one of the secret pilgrimage sites for the Shamans. Every Janai Purnima (Full Moon) of the Year is joyful and memorable; Shamans come in traditional uniform to perform their dances and spiritual healing.
