The most spectacular and picturesque view of the eastern mountain range appears above the popular Namche bazaar. The top of the world "Mount Everest" lies there with its several panoramic mountains peaks. For the daring is the "Kalapathar" which signifies a memorable rock climb on the black rocks well over 5545m in elevation.
The northern pass of Chola Ridge leads you to the popular Gokyo Lake including Far-fik lakes and Cho-oyu Base-camp. The Everest Region offers an opportunity for an experiment in your exotic travels to Nepal. Along this entire trip the trekkers encounter the tribal festivals of Sherpa customs. For example the "MANIRIMDU" is the biggest and most traditional worship event celebrated at Tyangboche Gompa elevated on 13000ft.
The Sagarmatha conservation area restricts and saves the indiginous culture and plants which are endemic along the trail. The trekkers enjoy blooming rhododendrons in spring; all feel pleasant with their glorious nature. |
