You are going to have the opportunity of talking to the native residents along the way who are known for their hospitality and warmth. It is one kind of experience to be one of them for a while and rejoice their hospitality. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek starts the village with the river bank of the Modi River after short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and keeps changing the settings as you ascend uphill, it transforms its natural landscapes from the river bank to the thick oak forests, rhododendron forests and from lush green grazing lands to the paddy field. Hiking to this village offer wonderful view of mountain, nature landscape and internal silence. Different class of birds to the village of Dhampus, populated welcoming by the Gurung committee. Tourists usually stay here as a halt point its main income source circuitous to local people. Dhampus hiking is the suit for who have short holidays this hiking route is much best because in the Annapurna region Dhampushill is one of the best view point of Nepal places in the earth. From Dhampus one can also clutch the outstanding view of Pokhara and the landscape gets even better as the sun goes down. Journey to Dhampus village, one of the delights in Nepal, begins from Phedi village, nearly 30 minute drive from attractive lakeside of Pokhara valley. When you come out from jungle to reach Dhampus, you will be able to wonder at outstanding view of enormous Mt. Machhapuchhare. Commonly known as Fishtail mountain (6991m) for peak resemble the figure of fish’s tail. Day 02 :- Dhampus to Landruk (1620m)   6-7hrs walking
Beyond Dhampus we get our first clear views of the mountains ahead, as we ascend through forest on a trail which is often made up of stone steps on the steeper sections. Passing through Pothana, we reach a clearing on a pass, at a place called Deurali (pass). At this point we are high up on the east side of the Modi Khola, the river which flows out of the Annapurna Sanctuary. From Deurali we descend steeply down through forest then contour around through villages and terraced fields to camp in the picturesque Gurung settlement of Landruk, which affords spectacular views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
Dinner and overnight at the local lodge (Teahouse)
Day 03: Landrung/Ghandrung. (6500 feet and  4- 5 hours walking)
The trail goes steeply down towards the river for an hour then there is a steep ascent for about 3 -4 hours through scattered villages with beautiful views of the Himalayas. Eventually, reach Ghandrung, one of the largest Gurung settlements in Western Nepal. You can have good views of Gangapura, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mount Annapurna and other snow-capped mountains. If time permits, visit the Annapurna Mountain Conservation Area Project (ACAP) headquarters, the local museum and the village. (B.L.D
After Lunch (Explore the beautiful Ghandruk Village) -
Ghandrung, pronounced “ Ghandruk” by resendents, is one of the second largest Gurung villages in Nepal where the first one is “Sikesh” and Ghandruk is typical in many respects. Further more to the south of modern Ghandruk there is a beautiful traditional Gurung village ( Gairi Goun) with orderly rows of neat slate- roofed houses are clustered on the canyon wall amid a complicated network of terraces where wheat and barley are grown. I take my clients to this typical village to observe the life style of local people.also facing the beautiful mountain south Annapurna,Hiun Chuli,Fishtails & much more.
Day 04: Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani 5 -6 hrs
Another day ascending ahead, but the walk will be easier now that you’ve found your trekking legs! Leaving the terraced hillsides and the village of Ghandruk behind, you will enter oak and rhododendron forest. This is a particularly pretty part of the walk, the forest is alive with the sound of birds and small tumbling waterfalls, and if you visit in spring, (late March to April) the rhododendron will be in full bloom. There are no villages on today’s route, but there will be a few teahouses at Baisi Kharkha, providing welcome drinks and a place to rest. There will be fine views of Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7237m), Machhapuchhare (6993m) and Lamjung Himal (6931m) along the way. Your lodge at Tadapani is the perfect setting for sunset and sunrise views. Stay overnight at Lodge
Day 05: Tadapani to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft) 5-6 hrs walk
After breakfast it's a short walk down to the stream and crossing wooden local made bridge and again followed by a 3 hour climb up to the steep ridge of Deurali for lunch and further walk to the top of Deurali pass (3160m/10365 ft). After an easy walk of around an hour, trails lead down to Ghorepani where we'll stay for the tonight. This is popular place for around and can see good panoramic view of the Mt. Dhaulagiri range and explore around.
Day 06: Ghorepani to Tatopani / Hotspring (1,200m/3937ft) via Poonhill (3,210m/10,531ft) hike, 7 -8 hrs walk.
Today will be a special day because we conquer Poon Hill- an icon of Annapurna region. We climb the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3200mtrs). The efforts will be rewarded with spectacular views of Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and the Annapurnas. After taking photos and having some coffee or tea or hot chocolate, we return back to Gorepani. Upon breakfast, we head east and climb a nearby ridge. We descend through rhododendron forest, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way and reach Tadapani for overnight. (B, L, D)
This is an easier trek designed up to Poon Hill which lies into the foothill of the Annapurna massif.  Poon Hill is located just 400m above Ghorepani and it would be an unforgettable experience for those to see early morning sunrise view from the vantage point. The hilltop also offers stunning views of the Himalayas ranging from Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhre (Mt. fish tail) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m). On a clear day, it is even possible to see the transcendental valley of the southern side.
Early morning  guide will knock you door to wake up you and climb up to the Poonhill takes 45 minutes hike on your pace though the rhododendron forest and spread glimpse of sunrise view and chirping sounds of birds during the early hiking. Poonhill is a great viewpoint from where we'll be able to enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Mustang part and Pokhara valleys. After back to hotel and breakfast we walk down to Tatopani with long down hill. Before reaching at Tatopani we will pass some nice local villages with Himalayan scenery. We'll stop en-route for lunch at Shikha before reaching at Tatopani(hot water spring). Enjoy your time in hot spring and overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Rest laundry and exploration in Tatopani Area with drinking Frsh Orange juice
The temperature at the hot spring ranges from 45*C to 48*C and is 54*C to 57*C at the foundation. The water in this hot spring consists of great amount of black salt and phosphorus which itself is a natural antibiotic. Due to this reason, the diseases are not transferable from one another while sharing the bath at the hot spring. By taking continuous bath in this hot spring, diseases like gastric, rheumatism, uric acid, back ache, skin disease, swelling, goiter and arthritis have been found to be cured. Depending on the nature and condition of the disease, people take bath in the hot spring for a period of couple of days to even weeks. The hot spring can occupy up to approximately 20 people at a time.
